About The U.S. Grant Suite
This suite at our Taneytown hotel was named for the 18th president of the United States and famous Union Civil War General-in-Chief, Ulysses S. Grant. He accepted the surrender of General Robert E. Lee at Appomattox on April 9, 1865, effectively ending the Civil War.
The U.S. Grant Suite beckons with a cozy gas fireplace, setting a warm ambiance, and a double jetted tub, offering a tranquil escape for guests seeking relaxation. With this suite, guests have access to the Carriage House’s large common area with a grand piano, ideal for gathering and relaxation.
