About The Powell Room

Named in honor of Neal W. Powell who was Mayor of Taneytown from 1978 to 1979. He was also City Manager for years and was involved in a great deal of public service. He was extremely supportive of the Molletts in their purchase of Antrim and their move to Taneytown in 1988.

This room in the Zepp House at our Maryland hotel offers a queen-size feather bed, corner jetted tub, shower, flat-panel TV, and gas fireplace. The common area boasts a spacious living room with a dining table and a mini fridge, making it a cozy space for guests to relax.
