This guest room at our Maryland inn is named after the Monocacy River, which begins near the Pennsylvania border and flows through central Maryland before emptying into the Potomac River and, eventually, into the Chesapeake Bay. This scenic river takes visitors through historic Civil War landscapes and lands that were once inhabited by Native Americans.
Situated on the second floor of the hotel, guests are welcomed with a queen-size four-poster canopy feather bed that promises a serene rest. The room also houses a double jetted tub fitted with a handheld shower for a relaxing bath experience. A gas fireplace is there to enhance the cozy ambiance of the room. Additionally, the Carriage House’s large common area, featuring a grand piano, is available for guests to unwind during their getaway in Maryland.
