About The Jackson Room

This room at our Maryland hotel is named after Andrew Jackson who was the seventh president of the United States. He acted as a representative of the common man. A major general in the War of 1812, Jackson became a national hero when he defeated the British at New Orleans. Jackson gained the nickname “Old Hickory” for his bold tactics during wartime.

The room is located on the second floor and features a king-size feather bed. A notable feature of the bathroom is its skylight, and it includes both a shower with a jetted tub. The room also boasts a gas fireplace for a cozy atmosphere. Guests can also unwind in the Carriage House’s large common area, featuring a grand piano.
