The Chamberlain Suite

This suite at our Taneytown, MD hotel was named for Civil War Union General, Joshua Chamberlain, who won the Medal of Honor. He later went on to become the president of Bowdoin College.

Relax on the queen four-poster canopy feather bed, and enjoy the warm ambiance of the wood-burning fireplace. The suite features a double jetted tub and a separate shower, offering a touch of luxury and relaxation. A private sitting room is the perfect space for reading or enjoying a quiet moment, while the back deck, facing the sunset, provides a tranquil setting to reflect on the day. Guests can also enjoy the house’s common area with a cozy fireplace.
