About The Bentley Room

Eli Bentley (1752-1822) was a renowned clockmaker who lived in Taneytown. One of his most beautiful tall case clocks was purchased in 1815 by the Biggs family for $95,000, a great sum at the time. The present-day value is well over $200,000.

This room at our Maryland hotel features a king feather bed, jetted tub with shower, gas fireplace, and flat-panel television. Guests can enjoy the room’s elegance along with the shared spacious living room, dining table, and mini fridge in the common area of Zepp House. The room accommodates 2 adults and 1 child, making it a comfortable choice for small families.
