The Abraham Lincoln Room

Regarded as one of America’s greatest heroes, Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865), 16th U.S. President, led the Union Army to victory in the Civil War and emancipated the South’s African-American slaves. The Gettysburg Address was his most famous speech. Besides being an eloquent diplomat, he was also an accomplished wrestler. His life embodied the human struggle to rise from humble beginnings and adversity to high achievement.

The Abraham Lincoln Room in the Slonaker House offers one of the best places to stay in Maryland with a luxurious rest with a king four-poster feather bed on the first floor.
