Named in honor of Dorothy (Dort) Mollett's beloved father, Charles Ward Truesdell (1914-1992). Charles was born in Norwich, New York and spent most of his professional life with Western Electric until he retired to Surfside Beach, South Carolina with his wife Evangeline (1918-2015).
Named in honor of Phyllis Ann Burch (1920-2001), owner Richard Mollett's mother. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and was one of seven children. Phyllis married John Mollett in 1944 and had four children; Penny, Burch, Tudor, and Richard. She loved antiques and was an accomplished travel agent, starting Mollett Travel in Cross Keys, near Baltimore, Maryland.
Named after owner Richard Mollett's sister, Tudor Anne Mollett (1949-2009). Tudor grew up in Baltimore and attended prep school in Gestadt, Germany. She became a model, and later traveled the world working out of London as a reservationist for Pan American Airlines.
