Antrim 1844 is a deluxe country hotel on 24 acrcres of restored grounds in Taneytown, Maryland, offering four star dining and unique accommodations. Nestled on 25 acres of pristine rose gardens, sprawling lawn's, and manicured boxwood lies the authentically restored mansion, built in 1844. Our experienced event planners will guide you through every step, providing advice, creativity and guidance to make your day everything that you imagined: all the details are attended to, from china to glassware, flowers to photographers. Whether an intimate affair for 30, or an extravagant party for 250, we strive to provide gracious service, impeccable food, and tremendous value.

 
Your choice of Ceremony settings include our Formal Rose Garden, glass enclosed garden room, our main lawn with a beautiful gazebo or by our soft running stream.

Perhaps afterwards, enjoy sumptuous hors d'oeuvres either in our lavishly appointed Mansion or on our Croquet Lawn, followed by an elegant dinner in our glass enclosed ballroom your guests will not soon forget, prepared exclusively for you by our Executive Chef, Micheal Gettier.

Retire to your complimentary suite after your celebration, featuring a king size featherbed, complimentary champagne toast & chocolates, fireplace and soothing Jacuzzi or join us in our Pick Wick Pub for a night cap or two.

Your guests can lodge overnight in any of our additional 30 rooms in private settings throughout the property, while you enjoy early check in and the luxurious amenities of the three room bridal suite to prepare for your special day. All of your Inn guests will recieve a complimentary wake up tray delivered to their room by 8:00 am, followed by a full country breakfast served in our Smoke House Restaurant from 8:30 - 10:00 am.

A pool, tennis court, putting green and croquet are just a few of the wonderful suprises that await your guests.


 

 


Our Custom Wedding Packages Includes
An experienced Wedding Coordinator to advise and assist you in all the stages of the planning process, from rehersal dinner through catered breakfast the day after, and all the coordination and logistics of your special day. You are the only bride on any given day!

A Complimentary Bridal Suite with a 12:30 early check in for you and your bridal party to prepare in. We would be happy to also prepare a lunch for your bridal party which will be delivered to your suite. Allow us also to assist in booking additional rooms for your guests. Make a weekend of it! With so much to see, we can also provide information on local attractions as well.

A complimentary wedding Ceremony rehersal

May we suggest a cocktail party in our rose garden or croquet lawn, and follow it with a dinner reception in the Garden Room and Ballroom.

A personally designed menu that includes your choice of of a seated meal served by our own professional, attentive wait staff, or perhaps a station party or buffet.

We have three different levels of Open Bar service available for you and your guests.

Our standard dinner service includes Silverware, White gold rimmed china, Glassware, Guest Tables, Mahogany Chivari Chairs with white pads, White table cloths and napkins, and table numbers if needed.

But feel free to utilize our custom design services to get just the look you want.

Generous Free Parking, with an attendant to greet your guests at our main parking entrance and mansion. We are handicapped accessible.

We will be happy to make vendor referrals and assist in their co-ordination.
