Dear Daniel,
A month-and-a-half later, and we are still basking in the glow of Ginny
and Dave's most perfect wedding. Part of the reason that this glow has
continued is that we keep hearing from family and friends about how Ginny's
was the best wedding that they have ever attended - and we have to agree
with thim!
We are especially grateful for this wonderful feeling because our wedding
planning process did not start out on the most auspicious of notes. We
serached and searched for just the right venue, but time after time we
walked away disappointed. We were on the verrge of lowering our expectations
and picking a place that was merely adequate. Then we visited Antrim. From
the moment we set foot on the grounds, we knew that we had found what we
had been looking for. The garden is stunning - so full of color and life.
The mansion is magnificent, and the guest rooms are incredibly charming
and unique. Choosing Antrim for Ginny's wedding was the easiest - and BEST
- decision we could have made.
As important as the elegance of the setting was to us, even more crucial
was the professionalism of your exceptional staff. Right from the start,
we felt that we were in very sure and capable hands: an experienced and
confident event planner, a world-class chef, and the most helpful and caring
staff with whom I have ever had the pleasure of interacting. Our everyneed
was anticipated, which lefr us free to enjoy a very magical day.
You know, a girl dreams about her wedding day her whole life, and you really
only get one chance to get it right. This is a very scary proposition,
considering that none of us had ever planned a wedding before! Thanks to
Antrim, everything far surpassed even what we had dared to hope for. Our
daughter's vision came to life: a touching ceremony in a beautiful and
historic setting, followed by an unforgettably FUN party with family and
friends. What parent could ask for anything more than that? It must be
a wonderful feeling for you and your amazing staff to be in the business
of making dreams come ture - and to think you do it on a weekly basis!
So again, a huge thank-you to you and to all the people at Antrim 1844
who helped to weave us this rich tapestry of memories that we will cherish
for the rest of our lives. Great Expectations - EXCEEDED!!!

"Our wedding was November 6...and it was absolutely perfect. In talking
to many of my friends about their weddings, they all have "regrets,
or things they wished they would have done differently"...but my husband
and I have said MANY TIMES....we wouldn't have changed a thing with ours!

This could be the shortest evaluation - the wedding was perfect - and the briefest expression of gratitude - a great big thank you - that you have ever received. But, as one who stood by while the father of the bride delivered his "brief" remarks at the reception, we suspect you knew we wouldn't be so brief! Nor should we be.
From the time we sat down with you for the first time in the drawing room
last summer, we were confident that Jennifer & Darron Would get the
perfect wedding they so richly deserved & you more than any other single
person delivered it. Okay, so you weren't responsible for the weather in
the mid 70s & the perfect light for the photographer. We've already
thanked Mother Nature for those. But you were responsible for seeing that
every other detail of the event took place as we had arranged it.
Please express our thanks to Michael Gettier for the marvelous food from
the 4 o'clock tea & cookies & tasty appetizers to the delicious
sirloin steak & crab cake main meal & the generous burrito at breakfast
the next day, the food was outstanding. The wedding guests were full of
compliments for the food & service & a few even walked away with
the recipe for that magnificent crab cake.
You're right of course, when you say that Antrim's Gardens, Pavilion, &
Rooms sell themselves. But without the over-the-top friendly service of
the staff & their careful attention to the needs of every guest, this
wouldn't have been the perfect wedding. JoAnn & I can't thank you enough
for making this one of the most memorable & rewarding days in our lives.

"It wasn't until we had a cake to cut that we understood 'how much we "needed" a cake to cut! Thank you for such a beautiful and delicious creation. We can only imagine how much care went into making it and feel so fortunate to have received something that so much time and thought went into. We shared a piece on our wedding night and have frozen the rest to save for our anniversary. However your cake was almost too pretty to eat. We even had to take a picture of it before we could allow ourselves to taste it.
Thank you so much for not only the cake, but for all of the large and small ways you helped to make our wedding festivities so special. We're grateful to you for your humor and perspectives and most of all your patience with our never-ending questions and requests. You made our wedding such an enjoyable experience from start to finish, and we actually felt as though Antrim become our second home during all of the months of planning.
