Shake off the winter blues at Antrim 1844 - our historic mansion in the beautiful Catoctin Mountains of Central Maryland. As the evening begins, sample butlered hors d’oeuvres accompanied by classical music or live piano, followed by our award winning six-course dinner, then retire to your luxurious colonial bedroom, immersed in fine furnishings, rare antiques and the historic richness and warmth unique to Antrim 1844.

Your springtime escape into the lavish sanctuary of our 25 acres is only a stroll away… through the sweet rose garden air, the birdsongs interrupted only by the cracking of croquet balls...relax on our estate as you would your own, try a round of tennis or a game of badminton on our newly refinished court, pitch horseshoes, or collapse into a hot steam bath, or a Jacuzzi.

		The Gettysburg Experience
		Legend has it that General George Meade, used Antrim as his headquarters prior to the Battle of Gettysburg. Indeed, his entire Army of the Potomac used Taneytown as an encampment, hoping to draw Lee's Confederate Army south to Taneytown. Unable to do so, General Meade watched his troops advance on Gettysburg from the widow's walk atop Antrim 1844. Come and experience Gettysburg like never before. Feel the adrenaline rush as you take the same route to Gettysburg as Meade's Army of the Potomac, on your way passing historic markers and homes used as hospitals.
