Named after Neal Powell who was mayor of Taneytown from 1966 to 1978. He was very influential in helping Richard and Dort.

The Reindollar Room
Queen-size feather bed, Flat Panel TV, Corner Jacuzzi tub with seperate shower, Gas fireplace, CD/Clock Radio and complimentary internet access. First Floor. Named after James Reindollar, who was the mayor of Taneytown. He was also part of a very prominent family in Taneytown who owned the local bank and trust.

The Bentley Room
King-size feather bed, Flat Panel TV, Jacuzzi tub and shower combination, gas fireplace, CD/Clock Radio, Sitting area and complimentary wireless internet access. Second floor. Named after Eli Bentley, who was a famous clockmaker from Taneytown, whose works are now treasured antiques. You can find some of his clocks with the name, "Taney Town" inscribed on the faces. Bentley made his clocks in Taneytown for more than 30 years dating from the late 1780s out of a shop on the corner of Frederick and Baltimore Streets.

The Rinehart Room
King-size feather bed, Flat Panel TV, Jacuzzi tub and shower combo, gas fireplace, sitting area, CD/Clock radio and complimentary wireless internet access. Named after William Henry Rinehart who was a famous sculptor that began his studies in Baltimore at what is now called the Maryland Institute College of Art. Among his more important works are the monument to Chief Justice Taney in Annapolis and the completion of the bronze doors to the Capitol in Washington. He also did the marble mantles in the drawing rooms of The Mansion at Antrim.

All rooms have clock radios, CD players and hair dryers.
To preserve the Country House atmosphere, there are no telephones in the individual guest rooms.
Only rooms where noted have televisions, Complimentary Wireless Internet access is available in all buildings except the Barn, Cottage and Ice House.
Wood-burning fireplace season is November through mid-April.
Room rates are subject to change without prior notice.

To help ensure that all of our guests have a pleasurable experience (due to allergies) we do not allow pets.
Reservation Deposit and Cancellation Policy

The deposit is non-refundable, but if you notify us ten days prior to your arrival date you can then transfer your deposit to another night's stay. If you cancel within ten days prior to your arrival date the deposit becomes non-transferrable. If you cancel within twenty-four hours from your arrival date, we reserve the right to charge the full night's stay if we are unable to book your room.

A deposit of $50 is required for each night of your reservation, however reservations beginning on either a Friday or Saturday night require a deposit of $100 for the first night.
