The Smith House was originally a small farmhouse built in 1860 located approximately a mile from Antrim. The Mollets had it moved to the property in 1992 to save it from destruction, and restored it as their personal residence. It was later turned into additional guest suites after they moved to Uniontown, Maryland.

The Taney Suite
Second floor of the Smith House. Queen-size four poster feather bed. Bath has two-person Jacuzzi, two person steam shower and wood-burning fireplace. Large dressing room, study, private porch overlooking the gardens. Cable TV & DVD player. Named after the town Founder, Raphael Taney.

The Chamberlain Suite
First floor of the Smith House. Queen-size four poster feather bed with wood-burning fireplace in bedroom. Bath has two person Jacuzzi and shower unit. Private sitting room with sofa and private back deck face the sunset. Cable TV. Private deck with sunset view and Rafter Ceilings. Named after Union Col. Joshua Chamberlain.

The Buford Room
The English Basement of the Smith House. Private entrance with Courtyard; the perfect place for families. Two room suite with seperate living room with comfy sofa bed, Flat screen TV and work desk. Bedroom with a queen-size bed. Private bath with traditional tub and shower. Named after Union General John Buford.

All rooms have clock radios, CD players and hair dryers.
To preserve the Country House atmosphere, there are no telephones in the individual guest rooms.
Only rooms where noted have televisions, Complimentary Wireless Internet access is available in all buildings except the Barn, Cottage and Ice House.
Wood-burning fireplace season is November through mid-April.
Room rates are subject to change without prior notice.

To help ensure that all of our guests have a pleasurable experience (due to allergies) we do not allow pets.
Reservation Deposit and Cancellation Policy
The deposit is non-refundable, but if you notify us ten days prior to your arrival date you can then transfer your deposit to another night's stay. If you cancel within ten days prior to your arrival date the deposit becomes non-transferrable. If you cancel within twenty-four hours from your arrival date, we reserve the right to charge the full night's stay if we are unable to book your room.
A deposit of $50 is required for each night of your reservation, however reservations beginning on either a Friday or Saturday night require a deposit of $100 for the first night.
