Residence of Bradford Slonaker who operated a marble yard here from 1875 to 1918. He made yearly trips to Vermont to select stones, which he carved himself. They were transported in a small horse drawn cart and erected by hand.

Over the course of his forty-seven year career, he commanded forces in the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, the Black Hawk War, the Second Seminole War and, briefly, the American Civil War.

Check in is 3:00 p.m. Check out is 11:00 a.m.
Children 12 and over is welcome.
All rooms have clock radios, CD players and hair dryers.
To preserve the Country House atmosphere, there are no telephones in the individual guest rooms.
Only rooms where noted have televisions, Complimentary Wireless Internet access is available in all buildings except the Barn, Cottage and Ice House.
Wood-burning fireplace season is November through mid-April.
Room rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Prices listed are Sunday through Thursday/Friday/Saturday & Holidays
Rates are based on double occupancy. Maximum occupancy two adults over the age of 18. Additional charge of $50 per child under 18 years of age per night in specified rooms.
To help ensure that all of our guests have a pleasurable experience (due to allergies) we do not allow pets.
Reservation Deposit and Cancellation Policy

The deposit is non-refundable, but if you notify us ten days prior to your arrival date you can then transfer your deposit to another night's stay. If you cancel within ten days prior to your arrival date the deposit becomes non-transferrable. If you cancel within twenty-four hours from your arrival date, we reserve the right to charge the full night's stay if we are unable to book your room.
